It surely says something about the evolution of computer storage when a device of Netbook Acer Aspire One’s size can provide a whopping 160 Giga Bytes (yes, that is Giga Bytes); when a computer the size of a building just a few decades ago could barely provide a mega byte of storage with those bulky magnetic drums of the fore. Just imagine what you could do with 160 Gigabytes of data. You could load hundreds of programs onto the computer (though of course you need not to) and still be left with storage space to spare. You could store thousands of photos, videos, and audio files onto it, and still have space to spare… and you get the drift.

The third thing you have to love about the Netbook Acer One is the immense computing power it comes with. This is mainly thanks to the Intel atom processor on which it is based, which when combined with its considerable RAM (Random access memory) and of course the immense ‘secondary’ storage space previously explored, makes it a very powerful computer in all aspects indeed.

The fourth thing you have to love about the Netbook Acer One is its size. Otherwise what would you say about a computer (with the computing power of some older mainframes) that is barely an inch thick, less than 8 inches in width, and just over 10 inches in length – which is what the latest models of the Acer Aspire One Netbook – like netbook Acer Aspire One AOD150-1920 10.1-Inch Ruby Red measure? And would be faulted for falling in love with the Netbook Acer Aspire One when you take into consideration the fact that it weights just under 3 pounds – which works to just under one and a half kilograms? Price: Although most netbook have very similar features, more and more models are starting to differentiate themselves whether in terms of price, specs or performance. The Acer Aspire One and the HP Mini are considered as budget-friendly or entry-level models (as opposed to high end models like the Toshiba Mini or the Asus 1005HA netbook). Design: While being aware that the preference of a design is very much a subjective matter, I just can’t bring myself to declare this as a draw between the Acer and the HP netbook. Okay, we have finally come to terms with the fact that netbook makers, as indeed all computer makers, will always specify their products in numbers – and leave it up to us to decipher these seemingly cryptic numbers, to know what a good product is and what isn’t. The third set of figures with which the Acer Aspire One is described is that of 1024 by 600. This, as it turns out, refers to the computer’s screen dimensions, which for a computer of its physical dimensions (10.1 by 7.2 inches), makes for extremely optimal use of available space.

Then there is 160 GB as the final figures used to describe the Netbook Acer One.
